{Recipe Roundup} Healthy Super Bowl Fare

So the Super Bowl is one week from today and I’m pretty excited, particularly since my Patriots are in!

(allow me to step away from my keyboard while you go off on your “I hate the Patriots” tangent).

There, feel better not that you got it all out?

I’ve been a life-long Patriots fan, and, for those of you who didn’t know New England even had a pro team until, oh, I don’t know, about 15 years ago, you may not realize just how long-suffering we Pats fans were up until that fateful day when Tom Brady took to the field.

So, pardon me if I don’t spend a lot of time giving much thought to “the haters”.

What I have given a lot of thought to is what I’m going to serve for the Big Game. Of course, the spread has to festive, delicious, and, most of all…healthy. I guess you could say I’m on a mission to deflate the fat and calories of my Super Bowl snacks.

(So sorry…I just had to go there. I promise it won’t happen again. For those of you who have no idea what I’m talking about,  allow me to commend you for living in a state of media-free bliss for the last week).

After perusing my recipes, turns out I have a pretty good collection of football-worthy dishes on this little blog. I’ve taken the liberty of collecting my favorites…I hope you’ll give them a whirl.

Oh, and GO PATS!

Betcha Can’t Buffalo Chicken “Wings”

Why “Betcha Can’t”? Because I betcha can’t believe that these game day must-haves can be made lighter (and still be awesome!).
